I know that most of my software is not working
properly under OS higher than 3.0!!
Please be also careful using my software on
any Visor!! Even if the Visor comes with OS 3.1, the Visor OS is NOT the
same than the 3.1 of a Palm. Especially hacks have a hard time with the
Visor, since Handspring implemented already a kind of 'Hackmaster' to handle
the Springmodules!!!

EcoHack v 2.2 is not working at all, don't use
it!!! The sad story is, that I can't just 'tweak' it a bit, I have to rework
it totally for the new EZ CPU.

Battery Monitor v1.7 is working, however you need
for all OS3.1 devices the new BMHack v1.6x. Please be aware, that for the
PalmV with its LiIon battery, BM has no chance to see whether you're 'recharging'
it while hotsyncing for example. So the oracle function won't work in that
case. From OS3.3 on, BMHack misses the OFF event, so it won't show any
reasonable values.

VoltageControl v3.2 seems to work, but it *doesn't*!!!
I tested it briefly, and it seems that no warnings at all are occuring!!!
I'll have to check that too - please deactivate VC for now. However, the
lowest, most important warning is emitted - how good I never touched it
with Voltage Conrol :)
Please allow me a very personal word about
the progress of updating my apps:

I know I promised to update my applications. I'm
very uphappy about the current situation and for times, I even thought
about, to stop all my activities for PalmOS. But then, I still have alot
of fun with it, I just don't have the time in the moment. I started a large
project in Spring 99 that still keeps me busy every day, BTW a project
for the Palm world :). Fact is, that this project is part of my future
and it can feed me, coding cool shareware can't, unfortunately! I even
stopped other things I'd just love to finsh, like my logger for the Pilot.
I invested already a considerable amout of time and money in it, but even
my beloved logger has to wait - I just had to set priorities! In the moment
- June 2001 - I have really no idea whether and if when I'll find the time
to update my apps. Another problem is, that some of them are hard to update
anyway. Since the PalmOS world changed quite a bit and tons of PalmOS devices
are on the market meanwhile, an app like Battery Monitor for example would
be a mega project. Don't forget that the nice results of Battery Monitor
came from single consumption tables for each Palm device it supported.
Testing each PalmOS device is - apart from having access to all of them
- a full time job I can't do in the moment.
