You can assign "long names" to each file. Silver Wolf Desktop keeps
track of these assigned names. The long names are only displayed in the
file lists, and nothing else makes use of them.
Silver Wolf Desktop has a "Trash" icon, familiar to most Mac or later
Windows user.
Dragging a file icon to the trash moves the file to a trash folder where
it may later be deleted or restored.
If you have many drives on your system, you can choose which ones are
shown or not.
When a network client is present, Silver Wolf Desktop can directly invoke
the Windows network browser and map a drive. However, it does not integrate
with the folder sharing functionality of Windows For Workgroups.
Silver Wolf desktop includes an advanced file association editor.
Silver Wolf Desktop also includes a "find" option. This lets you search
the entire hard drive for a file name, and display the results in an icon
window.
Finally shutting down Silver Wolf Desktop.
In conclusion, it seems a little rough around the edges compared to
Norton or PC Tools desktops, but as a shareware program it is pretty good.
