OpenVMS 8.4

The "Style Manager" is the included control panel. It has options for
setting color schemes, backgrounds, windowing, and other things that are
controlled by the desktop environment.
This is an example of a desktop with a different color scheme.
It has a built in help system, that presumably is similar to the Solaris
8 Help Viewer.
The OpenVMS CDE/Motif environment includes the earlier DECWindows applications.
This shows the DECWindows file manager and a graphic viewer.
OpenVMS also includes the Mozilla SeaMonkey 1.1 web browser. This appears
to be the last version available for OpenVMS.
Unfortunatly it is becomming harder and harder to surf the web with
SeaMonkey 1.1.x or Firefox 2 as sites slowley break compatiblity. (Unfortunatly,
"coding to standards" only gets so far).
And finally, DECTerm, and an obligatory calculator application.
No shutdown option? Nah, systems like this don't shut down, no mater
how many attempts you make to re-write your big iron enterprise applications
for The Web with XML and Java and HTML5 and SharePoint with FaceBook integration
because it needs to be Web Scale. :P
