There is a bug in the MessagePad 110 system software which may cause -48809 ("undefined method") error messages to appear when an application prevents the MessagePad from going to sleep. This happens, for example, when a Newton Toolkit Inspector connection is open, or while using NewtonWWW/PocketWeb. The error message is harmless but annoying. It does not appear to happen on any other Newton device.
The bug is not fixed by any system update. It seems that Apple made a patch to fix it, but I don't know where to get it, so I wrote my own.
Note: I haven't experienced any problems from using the patch, but I take no responsibility for any issues that might occur.
